- ISO-8859-2 - most Latin-written Slavic and Central European
languages: Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Rumanian, Croatian, Slovak,
Slovene
- ISO-8859-3 - popular with authors of Esperanto, Galician, Maltese, and
Turkish
- ISO-8859-4 - Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian characters
- ISO-8859-7 - Greek characters
- ISO-8859-8 - Hebrew characters
- WIN-1250 - MS version of ISO-8859-2 character set. Unfortunately
widely used, and - of course - incompatible with ISO-8859-2
- WIN-1251 - cyrillic font in MS encoding
bold means bold font version.
