I got reports that my 2.8.0-mv-sub for DP-450 hangs on FF/RW. To solve this problem I had to remove the clock from this firmware. New version is available from the download page.

Fixed a bug in 8859-8 firmware. If your player does not recognize any ISO9660 CD, you should download the firmware again and update the player.

11.11.2003 SUBTITLES BUG FIX
Fixed subtitles bugs:
- every subtitle is displayed for 6 seconds (if there is no next one to be displayed). That means vplayer type subtitles started to work.
- subtitles were cut on ']' character. Now it is replaced by ')', which is not so harmful :)
Firmware with theses bug fixed has "-sub" in the filename.

I have ported the newest UDF filesystem (known also as direct cd) to the KiSS firmware (udf version 0.9.7). I've already received some positive reports on it. I'll wait a few days and add this support to all national versions for all players.

Bold font versions for the following encodings: ISO-8859-1, ISO-8859-2, ISO-8859-3, ISO-8859-4, Windows-1250, Windows-1251. Cyrillic version (windows-1251) additionally supports full win-1251 cyrillic character set, including Ukrainian and Byelorussian characters ("not bold" version includes just Russian cyrillic).
